Abdullah Khan is a British filmmaker and founder of Rosebud Films. A BFI Academy alumnus, Khan began his career as a trainee on productions including 1917, Star Wars and Fast & Furious, before joining Neal Street Productions, where he worked as an assistant, gaining experience across the development and production of film, theatre and television. In 2022, Khan was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. As a writer-director, he has independently financed and produced multiple short films including Find the Light (2022), starring George MacKay; Path to Ecstasy (2023), starring Olivier Award winner Michael Jibson alongside Louis Ashbourne Serkis; and Screening Room (2025), filmed at the iconic Prince Charles Cinema in London. These films have screened internationally and at BIFA-qualifying festivals across the UK. His work to date blends emotional realism with heightened subjectivity, whilst exploring themes of memory, displacement and the search for transcendence.
