Delves into the lives of four Brazilian scientists living in Brazil and abroad who have had, and continue to have, their lives changed by persecution and restrictions on their research. The film chronicles the stories of geographer Larissa Bombardi, infectious disease specialist Marcus Lacerda, anthropologist Debora Diniz, and physicist Ricardo Galvão. Their stories reveal the impacts of denialism and threats against science in Brazil, exposing the risks of defending knowledge in times of intolerance.
