Min Kim

Min Kim is a Vancouver-based experimental animator and independent filmmaker specializing in interdisciplinary practices, including hand puppetry, stop-motion, set design, and compositing-based animation. Her work centers on themes of self-discovery, with a particular focus on confronting discomfort, vulnerability, and the less visible aspects of psychological and embodied experience. Through the tactile visual language of experimental film, Min employs intuitive and process-driven methods to translate sensory and emotional states into visual form.
